  • New students to our school may provide other additional information (i.e. latest school report) that the parents believe may assist us in helping their children

Personal Details, addresses and telephone numbers

Please advise the school office if your telephone number, address, or emergency contacts alter, in case we have to contact you in an emergency. Any information given to us is confidential to the school.

School hours

The school day starts for all children at 8:45 a.m. and finishes at 2:45 p.m. Please ensure your child is at school ready to start the school day at 8:40 a.m. onsite.

Morning interval is from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. and lunch is from 12:30 pm to 1:30 p.m.

No child should be at school or in the school grounds before 8 a.m. or after 3:30 p.m. because we cannot guarantee shelter or supervision. Teachers have after school meetings most days and are not available to look after children.

Please make suitable arrangements for your child if you know s/he is waiting for you at school and you are not going to be able to collect them before 3:30 p.m.

Children are not released early on wet days.

Attendance
Punctuality and regular attendance are expected of all students. We expect all children to be lining up at 8:40 am. If your child is absent or late for any reason please write a note or telephone the school on 828 5599 before 9: 00 am.

Protocol for Early Pick-ups
Parents and other visitors are to report to the office before going to your child's classroom to pick them for doctor's appointment or early departures. No child is to leave the classroom during school hours without informing the office.

Car park
There is limited parking space at the main entrance/church car park. Parents are asked not to enter the school grounds in their cars between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. There is a spare lot on the other side of the church where you can park and a back entrance to the school off Kelvinside Terrace/Arran Street.
